Who Is Aron Baynes?
Aron Baynes is a basketball centre who plays for Australia and for the Brisbane Bullets of the National Basketball League (NBL).
Baynes was born on December 9, 1986, in New Zealand, and played college basketball for Washington State University for four seasons.

After his collegiate career, Baynes played for Lietuvos rytas of the Lithuanian Basketball League, for one season.

So far in his career, he has played for Oldenburg, Ikaros, Olimpija, San Antonio Spurs, Austin Toros, Detroit Pistons, Boston Celtics, Phoenix Suns, and the Toronto Raptors.
When he played with the San Antonio Spurs, he won an NBA championship.
On the international scene, Baynes has represented the Australian national team, the Boomers, at different tournaments including the FIBA World Championship, and the Summer Olympics.
In 2022, Baynes joined the Brisbane Bullets on a two-year contract, after recovering from a spinal cord injury during the Tokyo Olympics.
