How did Bob Hope learn to dance?

Bob Hope had learnt how to dance way back in high school. He learnt tap dancing and had enrolled in a dance class.

Bob Hope was an award-winning entertainer who spent over 80 years of his life performing comedy, acting, singing, writing books and hosting shows.

Hope entertained military personnel around the world by making several tours for the United Service Organizations (USO). In 1997, he was named an honorary veteran of the Armed Forces.

Hope received many other awards during his lifetime, including five honorary awards by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences:

As an actor Hope appeared in over 70 films, stage productions and television series.

He authored about 14 books and hosted the Academy Awards 19 times between 1939 and 1977.

As a broadcaster cum presenter, Hope worked with the NBC television network, doing many notable television specials.

Hope passed away on July 27, 2003, after suffering from pneumonia. He was aged 100.
