Delores was his second wife, and they had lived together for 69 years.
Delores was a singer who was part of Hope’s music troupe at a time, and performed with him on Broadway.
Hope and Delores tied the knots on February 19, 1934, and were together until Hope’s death in 2003. Dolores later passed away in 2011, at age 102.

Late Bob Hope made significant contributions to various forms of entertainment such as comedy, film, television, and live shows for 80 years.
From hosting the Academy Awards 19 times, to appearing in over 70 films, and writing 14 books, Hope was no doubt an iconic figure in American entertainment.

One of Hope’s most significant contributions was his dedication to entertaining U.S. troops through USO (United Service Organizations) tours.
He performed comedy for soldiers stationed around the world during World War II, the Korean War, and other conflicts. Hope had a signature style of performing comedy which made him a beloved figure in the industry.
Hope gained more popularity through his radio shows “The Bob Hope Show” and “The Pepsodent Show”, and various TV specials on NBC.
As an actor, Hope appeared in “Road to…” series with Bing Crosby and Dorothy Lamour, “The Paleface,” and “The Lemon Drop Kid.”
Aside from entertainment, Hope was also known for supporting various charitable causes and organizations.
Hope died on July 27, 2003, after suffering from pneumonia. He was aged 100.
