Jessica Tarlov Parents: Meet Mark Tarlov, Judith Roberts

Jessica Tarlov is an American political commentator, analyst, and strategist. She is the daughter of Mark Tarlov and Judith Roberts.

She has a younger sister, Molly Tarlov who is an actress. Her father Mark Tarlov was a film producer and director, attorney, speechwriter, and winemaker.

He died on July 31, 2021, at his Manhattan home after battling cancer. He was 69. Jessica Tarlov’s grandparents on her mother’s side were both Jewish immigrant. Her grandfather from Russia and her grandmother fled Europe on the last boat from France before WWII.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in history with honors from Bryn Mawr College. She later completed her Master’s and Ph.D. in political science at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
