Television host, broadcaster, journalist, and author Sir Michael Parkinson was from England. He became one of the most sought-after journalists since he showed a passion for the field early on and maintained it throughout his career.
He served in the British army for two years, after which he worked as a journalist for the Manchester Guardian (later called the Guardian), before beginning his employment with the Daily Express in London.
