Early in the decade, he was a member of the punk band The Fall of Christianity, which included Brian Thalken of The Authorities.
In 2023, he starred in the documentary Louder Than You Think, directed by Jed I. Rosenberg, on his own life and career.
The film had its international premiere at South by Southwest on March 13, 2023, and won critical acclaim, winning the “Audience Award”: Alan French of Sunshine State Cinempex called it “illuminating and nostalgic,” and Serena Seghedoni of Loud and Clear Reviews called it “compelling.”
