Mendoza joined the Spectrum SportsNet LA network as a commentator for Los Angeles Dodgers games in 2022.

Jessica Mendoza gained prominence as a baseball analyst on ESPN, becoming the first female analyst for a Major League Baseball (MLB) game broadcast.

She formerly played softball as an outfielder for the United States women’s national softball team from 2001 to 2010.

During her career, she won several medals in international competitions, including gold medals at the 2004 Athens Olympics and the 2010 World Championships.

After retiring from softball, Mendoza transitioned to a career in sports broadcasting.

She became the first female World Series analyst on any national broadcast platform.

Mendoza currently doubles as an analyst for the Women’s College World Series, and the first female broadcaster to do so.
