About Jessica Mendoza
Jessica Mendoza began working as a sports analyst on ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball, and Baseball Tonight in 2014.
Mendoza currently doubles as an analyst for the Women’s College World Series, and the first female broadcaster to do so.
She is also the first female World Series analyst on any national broadcast platform.

In 2022, she joined the Spectrum SportsNet LA network as a commentator for Los Angeles Dodgers games.
Prior to her media career, Mendoza was a professional softball player, who played for Stanford University and the United States women’s national softball team.
Mendoza played as an outfielder for the Stanford Cardinals, where she was a four-time First Team All-American.
At the international level, she won several Olympic medals, while representing the United States.
Till date, Mendoza still ranks amongst top 10 in terms of career batting average and slugging percentage.
