Gustav Lindström is a Swedish ice hockey defenceman for the Montreal Canadiens of the National Hockey League (NHL).

His relationship status as of this writing is unknown. Lindström was selected 38th overall by the Detroit Red Wings in the 2017 NHL Entry draft.
Gustav Lindström signed a three-year entry-level contract with the Red Wings on May 25, 2018. Lindström was recalled by the Detroit Red Wings on February 5, 2020.

He had five assists in 45 games for the Grand Rapids Gryphons before being recalled. The next day, he made his NHL debut against the Buffalo Sabres.

Lindström decided to return to his previous Swedish club, Almtuna IS of the Allsvenskan, on loan until the start of the postponed 2020-21 North American season on August 17, 2020.
He signed a two-year, $1.7 million contract extension with the Red Wings on July 26, 2021. In 36 games for the Red Wings during the 2022-23 season, he had one goal and seven assists
Gustav Lindström signed a one-year contract extension with the Red Wings on July 1, 2023. Lindström was transferred to the Montreal Canadiens in exchange for Jeff Petry on August 15, 2023.
