Sylvia Fowles was born to her mother Arrittio Fowles, and a father, whose identity is unknown to the media.

Arrittio has four other children – Walter, Jeremy, Morris, and Dorothy. Not much information is available about her.
About Sylvia Fowles
Sylvia Fowles played for many teams in the WNBA including the Chicago Sky, Galatasaray Medical Park, Shanghai Swordfish, Canik Belediyesi, Beijing Great Wall, and Minnesota Lynx, where she played for seven seasons until her retirement in 2022.
The Miami-born native had played as a centre, and won several awards and honours including multiple WNBA championships, MVP awards, and All-Star selections during her career.

As a high school player, Fowles was named a McDonald’s All-American, and a WBCA All-American.
Fowles had a successful four-year collegiate career at Louisiana State University (LSU), and was later drafted by the Chicago Sky as 2nd overall pick in the 2008 WNBA draft.
She had averaged 10.8 points, 7.6 rebounds per game and 2.1 blocks per game as a rookie.
After six seasons with the Chicago Sky, she played with the Spartak Moscow for another three seasons.
