Chris Donovan is a soccer star who plays as a forward and began playing for Major League Soccer club Philadelphia Union in 2022.

Born on August 8, 2000, in Pennsylvania, United States, Donovan was drafted by as 68th overall pick in the 2022 MLS SuperDraft

He formerly played soccer at Conestoga High School, where he was a three-time First Team All-Main Line player.

He led his team to three Central League championships, and won the league’s MVP in his senior year.

Donovan also played college soccer at Drexel University for the Drexel Dragons, where he appeared in 60 games, scoring 30 goals.

During his collegiate career, he won many honours, including Gatorade Player of the Year, two state championships, the Philadelphia Inquirer Men’s Soccer Performer of the Year, the United Soccer Coaches Atlantic Region First Team, and All-American honors.

Aside from the Philadelphia Union, Donovan has additionally played for West Chester United, making 11 appearances and scoring 8 goals.
