Alejandro Bedoya is a professional American soccer player who currently captains the Philadelphia Union of Major League Soccer. He was born on April 29, 1987.
On July 21, 2011, it was revealed that Bedoya had signed a personal contract with Scottish side Rangers, subject to the issuance of a work permit, with the intention of joining in January 2012, following the conclusion of the Allsvenskan season. On August 17, 2011, Rebro SK and Rangers came to an undisclosed agreement, allowing him to join Rangers right away.

On August 28, 2011, Bedoya made his professional debut against Aberdeen in a Scottish Premier League game as a second-half substitute. On May 2, 2012, he scored his first goal for Rangers in a 5-0 victory over Dundee United to assist the Glasgow team finish in second position.
