Daniel Castelo Podence was born on October 21, 1995, in Oeiras, Portugal. On 3 February 2013, whilst still a junior, Daniel Podence made his senior debut, appearing for Sporting CP’s reserves in a Segunda Liga match against C.S. Marítimo B.
