Swin Cash Basketball Career
Swin Cash had a successful basketball career both in college and in the WNBA.
Cash played college basketball for the University of Connecticut (UConn) Huskies, where she helped lead the team to two NCAA championships in 2000 and 2002.
Cash was drafted as the second overall pick in the 2002 WNBA Draft by the Detroit Shock, and later went ahead to play for VBM-SGAU Samara, Seattle Storm, ZVVZ USK Prague, Chicago Sky, Atlanta Dream, and New York Liberty.

She also represented the United States in international competitions, winning Olympic gold medals in women’s basketball at the 2004 Athens Olympics and the 2012 London Olympics.
She additionally won gold medals at the FIBA World Championships and other international championships.
After retiring from professional basketball in 2016, Cash remained involved in the sport via broadcasting and commentary.
She worked as a basketball analyst for various media outlets, including ESPN and NBA TV.
In 2022, she was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
Cash is subsequently engaged in philanthropic efforts and initiatives that promote women’s sports and empowerment.
