Solofa Fatu Jr. Parents: Meet Vera and Solofa Fatu

Solofa Fatu Jr. is a former professional wrestler and a member of the Anoa’i family wrestling dynasty.  He is the son of Vera and Solofa Fatu.

He is of Samoan descent and comes from a family with a rich wrestling tradition. His maternal grandparents were preachers, and he grew up in the Sunnydale Projects in the Visitacion Valley neighbourhood.

Rikishi gained prominence in the WWE during the late 1990s and early 2000s. He was known for his unique personality, dance moves, and his signature move known as the “Stinkface,” where he would rub his posterior in his opponent’s face. Rikishi was often portrayed as a fun-loving character and a fan favorite.

He is a one-time Intercontinental Champion, two-time World Tag Team Champion, and one-time WWE Tag Team Champion. In 2015, his sons, wrestlers Jey and Jimmy Uso, entered him into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Rikishi’s wrestling career also included various tag team and singles championships. He competed in multiple WWE pay-per-view events and had feuds with other notable wrestlers of his time. His father, Solofa Fatu Sr., died of complications related to COVID-19 on October 4, 2020.
