Pius Suter is a Swiss professional ice hockey forward for the Vancouver Canucks. Suter was born in Zurich, Switzerland.

Suter committed to a four-year contract extension with the Lions through the 2022-23 season on November 28, 2018.
He concluded the 2019-20 season as the league’s PostFinance Top Scorer, with 53 points in 50 regular-season games, including 30 goals. He was also selected regular-season MVP.

Suter announced his departure from the NL and the ZSC Lions on July 13, 2020, citing his contract’s exit clause in order to pursue a career in North America and the NHL.
He signed a one-year entry-level contract with the Chicago Blackhawks in 2020. He made his NHL debut during the 2020-2021 season with the Blackhawks. In his rookie season, Suter showcased his offensive skills and versatility as a forward.
Pius Suter became the first Swiss player in NHL history to record a hat trick, achieving this feat in a game against the Detroit Red Wings during the 2020-2021 season. Suter signed a two-year contract with the Vancouver Canucks as an unrestricted free agent on August 11, 2023.
