Boxing champion Gemma Ruegg is a biological mother of six, and has two additional stepchildren.

She also has a son, Mace, who is a professional boxer.
Ruegg is known to regularly take her children to the gym. In 2019, she returned to the boxing ring just three weeks after birthing her sixth child.

Ruegg is set to feature as an under-card of Joshua vs Helenius on 12 August, 2023, after a short break from the sport.
Ruegg battled mental health challenges, depression and alcoholism as a teenager, and ventured into sports based on medical advice.
She went on to win the regional welterweight title, and became “the first female boxing champion at two weight classes in the QBL.”
Her current boxing record shows a total of five fights, two wins, and three losses.
In 2016 Ruegg launched her fitness apparel clothing brand Combat Dollies, which was featured in the 28th edition of the TV show The Ultimate Fighter.
