Miyabi Moriya made her debut for Japan in 2023, as part of the 23-player squad for the FIFA Women’s World Cup.

It was her first World Cup appearance in a match against Costa Rica.

Also, the Japanese-born footballer has played the defensive position for WE League club INAC Kobe Leonessa since 2015.

So far in her career, Moriya has won a number of individual awards including WE League Best XI and WE League Valuable Player Award, all in 2022.

Till date, Moriya continues to play for INAC Kobe Leonessa as a defender, and has made 19 appearances and scored three goals.

Moriya made her WE League debut in 2021.

So far, she has helped the team win the Empress’s Cup two consecutive times in 2015 and 2016. She also helped the club win the WE League Cup in the 2021-22, and 2022–23 seasons.
