Doug Ford Wife: Meet Karla Ford

Karla Ford is the wife of Doug Ford a Canadian politician and businessman who serves as the 26th and current premier of Ontario

Karla met her husband Doug at a garden party at his parents’ Etobicoke, Ontario home more than three decades ago.

“His eyes met my eyes. I was shy and quiet so I didn’t approach him,” Karla recalled to the Toronto Star in 2014. “My mom and dad both loved him because he was a respectable young man. My mom said, ‘He takes care of his mother and a man like that will take care of his wife.’”

“Doug’s wonderful, he’s amazing,” Karla gushed in a 2014 interview with CP24. “People always think, ‘Oh it’s not normal if you don’t argue.’ But we just don’t argue,” Ford added before joking, “I’m never home and that’s the problem. That’s a healthy marriage.”

Ford and his wife Karla have four daughters: Krista, Kayla, Kara, and Kyla.  Karla Ford describes herself on her private Instagram page as an “Animal lover,” “foodie,” “bodybuilding mama” and “positive thinker”
