Tamika Catchings was raised alongside four siblings, Tauja Catchings, Kenyon Catchings, Bryce Catchings, and Chrystie Catchings. Catchings’ sister Tauja also played basketball at Stevenson and the University of Illinois.

Tauja Catchings was drafted by the WNBA and now plays in Sweden. She is Stevenson University’s all-time highest scorer. Bobby Catchings, Catchings’ cousin, is also a basketball forward for Eastern Illinois University.

Not much is known regarding her other siblings. Tamika Devonne Catchings comes from Stratford, New Jersey, United States of America.

Tamika Catchings participated in the WBCA High School All-America Game where she scored twelve points. Tamika Catchings has won a WNBA championship (2012) and four Olympic gold medals (2004, 2008, 2012, 2016).
In 2011, Tamika Catchings won WNBA Most Valuable Player while averaging 15.5 ppg, 7.1 rpg, 3.5 apg, and 2.0 spg also leading the Fever to a 21–13 record, topping the Eastern Conference standings.
Tamika Catchings is one of only 11 women to receive an Olympic gold medal, an NCAA Championship, a Fiba World Cup gold, and a WNBA Championship.
