Famous German actress, Margit Saad has been reported dead. According to sources, she died of natural causes at the age of 94. She was best known for mainly working in German film and television with occasional English-language appearances.

Born on May 30, 1929, Margit Saad made her screen debut in the British drama film The Criminal and followed up with appearances in other British films and television programmes like The Rebel with Tony Hancock, Playback (1962), an early entry in the Edgar Wallace Mysteries series of second features, The Saint in The Saint Sees It Through (1964) and The Magnificent Two (1967) supporting Morecambe and Wise.

In 1966, she also appeared in an early episode of the American television espionage series Blue Light. She also starred in numerous movies and TV shows including Behind Monastery Walls, Southern Nights, If I Only Have Your Love, The Gypsy Baron, Marriage Sanitarium, Three Girls from the Rhine, Three Birch Trees on the Heath, A Piece of Heaven, Paradise for Sailors, The Last Escape, and more.
