NFL star William Gholston was born to his parents Deacon William T. Gholston and Dawn Ward.

His father had died of cancer in 2016.
William Gholston Career
William Gholston began his career in high school when he played football at Mumford High School and Southeastern High School.
He later proceeded to Michigan State University where he played college football before he was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Gholston was drafted by the Buccaneers as 126th pick, in the fourth round of the 2013 NFL Draft, and has since played with the team.

His current NFL statistics shows a record of 401 tackles, 19.5 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, 3 fumble recoveries and 12 pass deflections.
In 2015, Gholston appeared in all 16 games and started 11. He ended with amassed 67 tackles, three sacks and a forced fumble, and the following year, he recorded 49 tackles, three sacks, and one forced fumble.
In 2017, Gholston’s contract with the Buccaneers was extended for another five years.
In 2022 and 2023, his contract with the team was renewed back-to-back again.
