José Bautista is a former professional baseball player from the Dominican Republic. José Bautista and his wife Neisha Croyle have three children together.

They had their first child in April 2011. Their second child was born in November of 2012. José Bautista spends a lot of time with his three young daughters.
He revealed in an interview with CBC Toronto that becoming a parent has given him a new perspective on life and love. “It’s obviously a huge feeling of responsibility to be caring for another human being’s life. But it’s something I take a lot of pride in,” he told CBC Toronto.

When asked what would be the one thing he would teach his three daughters, Bautista says there are simply too many things to learn and too many things to be taught.
“As a father you can make an effort every single day to be better yourself and to make kids better as well, and I think that’s a good path to success.”
But Bautista says he is also busy learning himself every day as a father. “Hopefully I can continue to grow as a father and be the best father I can be.”
He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) primarily as an outfielder and third baseman. Throughout his career, Bautista was a six-time MLB All-Star and won multiple Silver Slugger Awards.
