Late TV star Anita Carey was married to British actor cum director Mark Wing-Davey.

Mark is known for playing Zaphod Beeblebrox in the “radio and television versions of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.”
Carey and Mark got married in 2002, and were blessed with two children.

Anita Carey was a British actress known for appearing as Joyce Smedley in the ITV soap opera Coronation Street from 1996 to 1997.
Born on April 19, 1948, in Yorkshire, England, Carey began her career in the 1970s, with theatre productions.

Some of her early roles include Z-Cars, Dixon of Dock Green, I Didn’t Know You Cared, Whatever Happened to the Likely Lads?, Ripping Yarns, Beryl’s Lot, The History of Mr. Polly and The Spoils of War.
In 2007, Carey was cast in the BBC soap opera Doctors which won her the British Soap Award for Best Dramatic Performance in 2009 and many other awards.
Other films Carey appeared include Casualty, Candlesticks, The Last Witness, The Murder Room, and many more.
Carey additionally played a voice role as Venat in the PlayStation 2 game Final Fantasy XII.
Carey passed away on July 19, 2023, after battling breast cancer. She was aged 75.
