Who Is Nola Matthews?

Nola Matthews is a competitive gymnast who has represented America in many championships, and won several medals.

The American-born gymnast competes under Airborne Gymnastics Training Center, headed by Cleo Washington.

She also coached by Tonya Piacente, Melissa Metcalf, and Melanie Ruggiero.

Before making her junior elite debut, Nolan participated in the Hopes Classic, and the Tournoi International in Combs-la-Ville, France, where she won medals.

She made her elite debut in 2019 at the American Classic where she finished ninth place in the all-around and third place on the uneven bars.

In 2021, Nola competed at the Winter Cup, and won the silver medal on the uneven bars. In the same year, she again made appearances at the American Classic, the U.S. Classic, and the U.S. National Championships.

Nola made her senior debut in 2022 at the Winter Cup, winning the gold medal on uneven bars. She additionally represented the United States at the DTB Pokal Team Challenge, where the team won a gold medal.

In 2023, she won the Pan American uneven bars championship.
