Nathan Tella began his career at the age of eight with the English club Arsenal, where he played for 10 seasons, until he moved to EFL Championship club Southampton.

The English-born footballer plays plays both as a right winger and an attacking midfielder.

Tella additionally played for Burnley as a loan signee, and scored his first career hat-trick in 2023, during a match against Preston North End, and “a second hat-trick in a 3–1 victory over Hull City.”

He made his senior debut with Southampton in 2020, in a match against Norwich City.

In 2021, he made his first Premier League start in the same year, in a game against Leeds United, and helping his team record a 3-0 win in the process.
