Champ Bailey is a retired American football cornerback who played in the National Football League. On June 22, 1978, he was born in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Bailey’s awards and accomplishments include three first-team All-Pro selections from 2004 to 2006, four second-team All-Pro selections from 2000 to 2012, and twelve Pro Bowl appearances.

He also received the Bronko Nagurski Trophy and was named a consensus All-American while playing college football at Georgia. Champ set an NFL record with 203 passes defended and was inducted into both the Pro Football Hall of Fame and the College Football Hall of Fame during his career.

Champ Bailey began his professional football career with the Washington Redskins after being selected seventh overall in the 1999 NFL Draft.
