After playing collegiate baseball for UNLV, he was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in the first round of the 2019 Major League Baseball draft. He made his MLB debut in 2022. Stott attended Desert Oasis High School in Enterprise, Nevada.
Stott made his professional debut with the Rookie-level Gulf Coast League Phillies before being promoted to the Class A Short Season New York-Penn League’s Williamsport Crosscutters.
