Kwon Alexander is a well-known American football linebacker for the National Football League’s New York Jets. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers selected him in the fourth round of the 2015 NFL Draft.

Alexander attended Louisiana State University and played collegiate football there. As a true freshman, he appeared in seven games, making two starts, and recording 12 tackles. He started nine of thirteen games as a sophomore.
He had 65 tackles by the end of the season. Alexander led the team with 92 tackles and 1.5 sacks as a junior. Alexander declared for the 2015 NFL Draft following his junior season.

Alexander was selected by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the fourth round (124th overall) of the 2015 NFL Draft.

Kwon Alexander, a rookie linebacker for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, played with a heavy heart in the Buccaneers’ upset victory against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, less than 48 hours after his 17-year-old brother was shot to death.
Broderick Taylor II, Alexander’s younger brother, was murdered in November during Alexander’s rookie season, shot and killed following a fight. He was still in high school at the age of 17. (The shooter was condemned to life in prison.)
