Jana McKissick is the wife of Mike Mussina a former Major League Baseball (MLB) pitcher who played for 18 seasons in the league.

The couple has been married since 1997. The couple has two boys, Brycen and Peyton. He also adopted Kyra, Jana’s daughter from a previous marriage.

Mike Mussina and his family live in his hometown of Montoursville, where he is well-known. Mussina had an illustrious career in the MLB, spending the majority of his playing days with the Baltimore Orioles from 1991 to 2000 and later with the New York Yankees from 2001 to 2008.

Mussina achieved several remarkable milestones during his time in the MLB. He was a five-time All-Star, won seven Gold Glove Awards for his defensive prowess as a pitcher, and finished in the top five of Cy Young Award voting on multiple occasions.

After the 2008 season, Mike Mussina announced his retirement from baseball on November 20, 2008, following an impressive 20-win season with the New York Yankees. In 2019, his exceptional career was recognized when he was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Post-retirement, Mussina has been helping out with the athletic programs at his high school and he operates a training camp for student athletes in the Montoursville area.
