Sherri Keenan is the mother of Morgan Bauer, a Georgia resident has been missing for over 7 years.

Despite growing up in Aberdeen, South Dakota, the 19-year-old and her family relocated to Atlanta, Georgia in February 2016 to begin a new life. Morgan went missing late February 2016, only two weeks after settling to her new city.
According to the New York Post, she was working as a dancer at a nearby club at the time of her disappearance while looking for a place to live.
Her mother Sherri Keenan described her daughter as charismatic and gentle-hearted. “When she walked in a room, you knew she was there. She just commanded a whole room,” she told Dakota News Now “She was beautiful and funny and her laugh could just completely take you away. She was kind.”

With seven years passed since her disappearance, Keenan told the outlet that a majority of her family believes “she’s gone.” “I have a lot of people ask me what I think,” she added. “In this case, it’s just really hard because I want to hold on to hope. I can’t imagine. I just can’t imagine her not being here. I can’t imagine living without her.
“I can’t imagine being okay with all of this. I just can’t imagine figuring out how to live with it sometimes,” said Keenan. The FBI and local police re-launched their search for her in July 2023. They were seen searching a residence in Georgia, less than a mile from the park where she was last seen.
During a press briefing, officials confirmed that they were searching for Bauer’s remains and revealed that they had retrieved “items of evidentiary interest,” but they did not provide any additional details.
