Lea Sophie Friedrich (born 7 January 2000) is a professional track cyclist from Germany. She earned silver in the women’s team sprint event at the 2019 UEC European Track Championships in October 2019.

Lea placed second to compatriot and good friend Emma Hinze in the Women’s Sprint last year despite winning two of the eight races. She’ll be aiming for the top step of the podium this year.

Lea has had a fantastic career thus far. She won an Olympic silver medal in the Team Sprint in Tokyo in 2020 and has since won five global titles, including back-to-back Team Sprint and Kierin races, as well as the 500m Time Trial in 2021.
