Lea Friedrich is a professional track cyclist from Germany. She earned silver in the women’s team sprint event at the 2019 UEC European Track Championships in October 2019.
The women’s Keirin event was the penultimate event at this year’s World Championships, and Germany’s Lea Sophie Friedrich earned the gold. Friedrich competed in the finals against the top six riders from the qualifying rounds. Mina Sato and Steffie van der Peet finished third and fourth, respectively.

Lea has had a fantastic career thus far. She won an Olympic silver medal in the Team Sprint in Tokyo 2020 and has since won five global titles, including back-to-back Team Sprint crowns.
