Lea Sophie Friedrich (born January 7, 2000) is a professional track cyclist from Germany. She took silver in the women’s team sprint event at the 2019 UEC European Track Championships in October 2019.

Lea finished second in the Women’s Sprint against compatriot and good friend Emma Hinze last year despite winning two of the eight races. This year, she hopes to reach the top of the podium.

Lea has had a fantastic career thus far. She won an Olympic silver medal in the Team Sprint in Tokyo in 2020, and since then she has won five global titles, including back-to-back Team Sprint and Kierin races in 2020, as well as the 500m Time Trial.
