Gary Glenn was an American politician and activist who served in the Michigan House of Representatives for the state’s 98th district as a Republican from 2015 to 2018. He advocated for the elimination of mandatory union membership and financial support as a condition of employment.

He spearheaded a successful drive to create a state Right-to-work law barring collective bargaining agreements that require membership in or financial support of a labor union as a condition of employment as executive director of the Idaho Freedom to Work Committee from 1980 to 1986.

Glenn was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer in January 2016, with recurrence predictions for 2018 and 2021. On July 27, 2023, he died at the age of 65.
