From the time she attended California State University, Karen has been active in football. After her freshman year, she was a student-athlete for the Cal State Fullerton Titans and was honored as the Big West Conference Freshman of the Year. 2005 saw her win the Big West Conference’s award for Goalkeeper of the Year.
