A striker for La Liga team Rayo Vallecano and the Colombian national team, Radamel Falcao was born in Colombia on February 10, 1986. He is referred to as “El Tigre” (The Tiger) and is regarded as one of the top players and attackers of his generation. Falcao is also recognized as one of, if not the greatest, Colombian football players in history.

Falcao started his professional career with River Plate in the Argentine league, where he played with their junior academy from 2001 to 2004 before going on to win the 2007–2008 Clausura competition. He moved to Porto in 2009–10, where he earned a number of honors, including the 2011 treble of the Primeira Liga, Taça de Portugal, and UEFA Europa League.
