Football midfielder Elin Rubensson, who was born on May 11, 1993, represents both the Swedish National Team and BK Häcken in the Damallsvenskan. In 2012’s Under 19 Championship, she participated in and had a significant impact for Sweden. For the Sweden U17 and U19 youth national teams, Rubensson scored close to 50 goals between 2008 and 2012.
Rubensson was switched from striker to left back by Malmö in May 2013. The full back for Malmö’s male team at the time, Filip Stenström, served as her inspiration.

In order to sign a two-year deal with Kopparbergs/Göteborg FC, she departed champions Malmö (then known as FC Rosengrd) in December 2014. She extended her employment at Kopparbergs/Göteborg FC on August 4, 2018, for a further five years.
