Kosovare Asllani Football Career

Kosovare Asllani’s football career began at age 15, with the club Vimmerby IF in Sweden.

She later moved to Linköpings FC, where she became recognized as a top talent in the country.

In 2012, Asllani began playing for Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in France, and in 2016, she moved to Manchester City in England.

Asllani joined her current club A.C. Milan in 2022, and the following year, she was named to the 23-player squad for the FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Asllani has also played for other clubs, including Linköpings FC, Chicago Red Stars, Kristianstads DFF, CD Tacón, and Real Madrid.

Internationally, Asllani has represented the Swedish national team at various levels, participating in major international tournaments, including the FIFA Women’s World Cup and the UEFA Women’s Championship.

Asllani has won several awards including the Swedish women’s footballer of the year (2017), the Swedish women’s midfielder of the year (2017), and the Women’s Golden Foot in 2022.
