American soccer player Robert “Robbie” Robinson Belmar, who was born on December 17, 1998, is now a member of Major League Soccer team Inter Miami.

Prior to the 2017 campaign, Charleston Battery of the United Soccer League signed Robert to an academy contract. In an 88th-minute substitution in a 3-2 loss to Atlanta United FC during the 2017 U.S. Open Cup, he made his professional debut on June 14.
Robert joined Major League Soccer as a Generation Adidas player and was announced to be available in the 2020 MLS SuperDraft in December 2019. In the 2020 MLS SuperDraft, Inter Miami selected Robinson first overall.
