George Brett is a retired professional baseball player who is considered one of the greatest third basemen in Major League Baseball (MLB) history.

George Brett and his wife Leslie Davenport have three children: Jackson, Dylan, and Robin. His kids have all played baseball at some level.
His son Dylan attended Shawnee Mission East. During his time there, Dylan lettered three years for head coach Jerrod Ryherd. He was named second team all-league, played in the RBI All-Star game and selected co-pitcher of the year at Shawnee Mission East High School.
George has always been involved in Dylan’s sporting career, coaching all three of his boys’ baseball teams until they started high school. The three-time batting champion, together with his wife Leslie, have supported Dylan and his brothers in their sports endeavours.

George Brett spent his entire 21-year MLB career with the Kansas City Royals, from 1973 to 1993. He was a 13-time All-Star, won three Silver Slugger Awards, and earned a Gold Glove Award for his defensive skills at third base.
After retiring from playing, George Brett remained involved in baseball, working Vice President-Baseball Operations for the Kansas City Royals. He has also been inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame.
