Scott Rolen Parents: Meet Ed Rolen, Linda Rolen

Scott Rolen is a former professional baseball player. He is the son of Ed Rolen and Linda Rolen.

Rolen played as a third baseman and was known for his exceptional defensive skills and offensive contributions. He made his MLB debut in 1996 with the Philadelphia Phillies and quickly established himself as one of the top third basemen in the league.

One of the highlights of Scott Rolen’s career came when he played for the St. Louis Cardinals. He was a key player for the Cardinals during the early 2000s and was a significant contributor to the team’s success.

Over his MLB career, Rolen accumulated impressive statistics, including over 2,000 hits, nearly 300 home runs, and more than 1,200 RBIs.  Scott Rolen played for several MLB teams during his career, including the Philadelphia Phillies, St. Louis Cardinals, Toronto Blue Jays, and Cincinnati Reds. He was a seven-time All-Star and earned Silver Slugger Awards during his career.

After retiring from professional baseball in 2012, Rolen has kept a relatively low profile. Rolen was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame as part of its class of 2023. During his induction speech, he credited his parents for their support during his career.
