The couple got married in 1988 and raised two children. There is not much information about Veronica aside from her marriage to her husband Fred McGriff.
McGriff was a highly skilled first baseman and a feared power hitter during his time in the MLB. He was one of the most consistent power hitters of the 1990s.
He averaged more than 80 runs batted in (RBI) every year from 1988 to 2002, and he was the first player since the dead-ball era to lead both leagues in home runs in the American League (AL) in 1989 and the National League (NL) in 1992.

After retiring as a player, Fred McGriff has been involved in various baseball-related activities, including coaching and serving as a special advisor for teams.
