Born on November 20, 1962, Rajkumar Hirani studied St. Francis De’Sales High School. He did his graduation in commerce. However, his parents wanted him to be an engineer, but he was more keen on theatre and film.
He started his career in 1994 as a film editor. He gradually established himself as a director and producer of advertising films. He was also seen in a Fevicol ad where some men and elephants were trying to pull and break a Fevicol plank. He was also seen in the Kinetic Luna ad campaign created by Ogilvy & Mather.
Hirani is known for several movies and TV shows. Some of them include Sanju, 3 Idiots, PK, Dunki, Lage Raho Munna Bhai, Munna Bhai Chale America, Nanba, Ferrari Sawaari, and more.
