Nate Thompson is an American ice hockey center with a notable career in the National Hockey League (NHL).

Nate Thompson has a daughter with his partner Sonia Pacheco and a son named Teague with his ex-wife, Cristin Stuart. Thompson and Pacheco welcomed daughter Wylder Rayne on March 23, 2023.

There is not much information about his son Teague. Thompson’s journey to becoming a professional hockey player began when he was drafted by the Boston Bruins in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, marking the start of his NHL dream.

He played for the Boston Bruins, New York Islanders, Tampa Bay Lightning, Anaheim Ducks, Ottawa Senators, Los Angeles Kings, Montreal Canadiens, Philadelphia Flyers and Winnipeg Jets.

Nate Thompson has also represented the United States at the Ice Hockey World Championships in addition to his NHL career. He initially played for Team USA in 2012, as an alternative captain alongside Jets skater Jim Slater and under Columbus Blue Jackets captain Jack Johnson.
