She won her first Women’s World Cup in 2015, which was held in Canada. In the final match against Japan, Lloyd’s remarkable performance, including a memorable hat-trick (three goals) in the first 16 minutes of the game, led the U.S. to a 5-2 victory and secured the championship.

Her second Women’s World Cup triumph came in 2019, which was hosted by France. Lloyd was a crucial member of the USWNT during the tournament, contributing both on and off the field. The United States once again emerged victorious, defeating the Netherlands 2-0 in the final match to claim their fourth Women’s World Cup title.
