Carli Lloyd had a very successful career. Although she received criticism early in her career for being inconsistent and losing possession easily, Lloyd eventually grew into one of the top players in the world, and is highly acclaimed for her exceptional dedication, mental fortitude, and work ethic.

Carli Lloyd is a two-time Olympic gold medalist (2008 and 2012), a two-time FIFA Women’s World Cup champion (2015 and 2019), and a two-time FIFA Player of the Year (2015 and 2016).

She is also a four-time Olympian (2008, 2012, 2016, and 2021). Lloyd won gold medals in the finals of the 2008 Summer Olympics and the 2012 Summer Olympics.

Carli Lloyd also helped the United States win crowns at the 2015 and 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cups, a bronze medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics, and a second-place finish at the 2011 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
