Niamh Fahey is a football midfielder/center-back who has played for the Republic of Ireland since 2007, and has won over 100 caps for the country.
On three occasions, she was named FAI Women’s Senior International Player of the Year.

In 2022, she played her 100th match for Ireland and scored her first goal for the team during the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup qualification.
Fahey has also been a player for Liverpool since 2018, and has played for many other clubs including Salthill Devon, Galway, Arsenal, Chelsea, Bordeaux.
She played for Galway on loan in 2007 and helped the team win the FA Cup. When Fahey played Gaelic football, she won the All-Ireland Ladies Football Championship on two occasions.
After spending six seasons with Arsenal, Fahey got signed into Chelsea L.F.C. in 2015.
