Vera Pauw Husband: Meet Bert van Lingen

Bert van Lingen is a Dutch professional football coach and the husband of Vera Pauw is Dutch former professional soccer player and a highly respected coach.

They met through football while he was her coach with the Netherlands national team before they started dating. The couple has no children together.

Bert van Lingen has led the Netherlands women’s national team twice. He stopped coaching Netherlands in 1991, so they have been together since around that time.

Later, he became an admirer of Dick Advocaat, accompanying the self-proclaimed ‘Little General’ on lucrative assignments at Glasgow Rangers, Zenit Saint Petersburg, and Sunderland.Van

Vera Pauw began her career as a player and had a successful career, representing the Netherlands women’s national team.  Following her playing career, Vera Pauw transitioned into coaching and became one of the pioneering figures in women’s soccer coaching.

She has managed and coached several women’s national teams, including Scotland, the Netherlands, and South Africa. She is currently the manager of the Ireland women’s team
