Pete Walker is a former professional baseball player and a current pitching coach. Pete Walker and his wife Kari have three daughters.

His daughter Marissa was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, a type of bone cancer, in 2009 at the age of 9. Marissa had her knee and femur removed surgically and replaced with an inflatable prosthetic.

She is now cancer-free and in remission, but the incident has had an impact on Walker’s family.

Walker, whose family lives in Florida, hopes to establish his own charity. For the time being, he is willing to assist any organisation that assists cancer sufferers and their families.

Pete Walker was a pitcher who had a career in Major League Baseball (MLB) spanning from 1995 to 2006. He played for multiple teams, including the New York Mets, San Diego Padres, Toronto Blue Jays, and Tampa Bay Devil Rays.

After retiring as a player, Walker transitioned into coaching. Since 2012, he has been the pitching coach for the Toronto Blue Jays, a position he holds.

As the pitching coach, Walker is responsible for working with and developing the pitching staff, assisting with strategy, and helping pitchers improve their skills and performance.
